How do we ensure that the voice of the young person is heard?

• ·We hold person centred reviews for all children with EHCPs and gather their views, wishes and feelings ahead of and during the meeting. The meeting is planned alongside them, and all steps are taken to ensure they feel comfortable and empowered to speak.
•  The SENDCo and other members of the Senior Leadership team regularly meet with SEN pupils and asks them about their targets, progress and what they think is going well or they may want to improve.
•  As part of our  ILP process, children are invited to share their views and have these recorded on the  ILP
•  We will explore a range of methods to capture the views and feelings of our children.
