The Broadoak Governing Body
At Broadoak Primary we have an active governing body who meet regularly with the Headteacher and staff throughout the year. All schools have a governing body who work diligently to ensure all children have a good education. With around 350,000 governor places in England, governors are the largest volunteer force in the country.
When Broadoak Primary School became an Academy in October 2011, the school became independent from the local authority. The school is governed by a team of Governors, some of whom are also Members of the Academy Trust.
All of our Governors are Company Directors of Broadoak Primary School Limited, as all Academies are limited companies.
