Job Title: Deputy Headteacher (Non class based with agreed Teaching Responsibilities)
Start Date: January 2020
Salary: £50,936 - £56,165
Salary Grade: Group 3 ISR Leadership L10 – L14
The Governors of Broadoak Primary School are looking for applications from imaginative and enthusiastic applicants, who will work alongside the Headteacher to maintain and build upon the school’s high standards.
Broadoak Primary School educates nearly 500 children and has a 60 place full-time Nursery. We converted to Academy status in 2011 and achieved Ofsted Outstanding in 2009. We wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who has vision, ambition and a range of teaching and leadership experiences. The appointed candidate will need to lead a strong staff team to maintain the highest standards of education, alongside excellent pastoral care for all children.
Located in Swinton, Broadoak Primary is a heavily over subscribed school, that has excellent facilities, including extensive grounds that drive a commitment to outdoor learning. As an educational team we have track record for achieving high levels of educational attainment from our pupils and put our children at the very centre of our aims. We provide a stimulating environment in which our children feel secure and happy.

Job Title: Catering General Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours : 8.75hpw, Term Time Only
Salary Grade: Grade 1B SCP 03-04 permanent position. Pay range
The Governors of Broadoak Primary School wish to appoint a Catering General Assistant to join our in-house catering team. The appointed person will work within the team in the provision of school lunches across our two on-site kitchens. As a General Assistant you will assist the Cook Supervisors in providing healthy, nutritious meals for the children of Broadoak. Duties may include setting up of dining rooms, washing up, serving of food and some basic food preparation.
We are looking to appoint a highly flexible individual who uses their initiative and can work well as part of our school catering team. The successful candidate will demonstrate genuine care for the welfare and safeguarding of our children and strive to provide a high quality service. Previous experience of catering is helpful but not essential. The successful candidate will be expected to complete Level 2 Food Hygiene and all relevant Safeguarding training.
