Broadoak Primary School

Parent Voice Group

Membership

The Parent Voice membership is made up of parents and carers of children currently attending Broadoak Primary School. We aim to have at least one representative per year group. Representatives can serve for a minimum of a full academic year or longer. At the start of each year, parents and carers are invited to join the Parent Voice Group for our Nursery and Reception children or where there are any changes to year group representatives.

Members of the senior leadership team attend these meetings - usually both the head teacher and deputy headteacher.

How to Get Involved

If you would like to share any ideas or comments about agenda items that will be discussed at the Parent Voice Group, the agenda will be posted on the Parent Voice Page of the Website and shared with Parent Voice Group Members the week prior to the meeting. Representatives may wish to seek parent/ carer views to share at the meeting,  or if you have wish to raise new points for the following meeting, then you can either:

Talk to a representative of Parent Voice Group or if you wish, you can email school via the main school office.

It is import to discuss areas of strength as well as making suggestions for improvements as the school also needs to reflect on what is working well.
